Service Options

By investing in the future, Move to the Future has been able to remove a significant part of the cost of selling a property, which we have in turn passed on to you as reduced fees.

In order to enable you to take more control of your sale and reduce your costs even further we have introduced more choices within our “Fundamentals."  As you can see from the table below this includes all of the essential services needed to sell your property and excludes some of the more labour intensive or costly activities where these are "not necessarily" fundamental to the sale.

Move to the Future Fundamentals is based upon the assumption that you are confident to conduct the viewings and the sales progression yourselves.

In addition, within Fundamentals there are some chargeable options:

Open House – This is an event organised to provide maximum exposure of your property, for a specific time slot of typically 2 hours on a Saturday.  Your “Open House” event will be advertised in the local press and includes temporary signage for the event, erected by our staff who will also be present to meet and greet potential buyers.  This can be a useful way to raise interest and achieve a quick sale for a popular property type in the right market but it is not a panacea, which is why it is an option.

Newspaper Advertising – Move to the Future is committed to advertising in the property press for the foreseeable future.  However, the nature of this advertising is likely to change over time with the paper advertising increasingly geared to guiding buyers to the Move to the Future website.  In the region of 25% of property searches do not start online and the importance of paper advertising will depend upon the property in question, market conditions and urgency to complete a sale.  We will be happy to discuss these aspects as part of our market appraisal and the newspaper option or an upgrade to our Full Service can be included at any time.

Key Handover at the Property – This option is particularly useful if you are moving from the area, especially when there is there is a gap between moving out and the buyers moving in.

Options that apply to both Fundamentals and our Full Service include:

Premium Listing of your property on Rightmove which gives your property a more prominent appearance.  This would be particularly useful when trying to differentiate between very similar properties.

Feature Listing of your property on Rightmove A feature listing places the property at the top of page one or two (depends upon search relevance) in a feature display to maximise the property's presence within Rightmove.
